Located in Bangor, Maine, Artifex Architects & Engineers is a woman-owned business founded in 2010 by Architect, Ellen Angel, and Civil Engineer, Rayshelly Lizotte. The two formed an interdisciplinary architectural & Engineering studio after their shared commitment to craftsmanship led them to develop a team whose expertise in the built environment could provide clients with pragmatic design solutions sympathetic to the architectural heritage of Maine, yet modern and innovative in their approach.
